AI first-round interviews · early access
Every applicant gets a real first interview. Your team reads the evidence.
HireVoice holds a live, spoken first-round interview with each candidate, in English, French or Lebanese Arabic, then scores every answer against your rubric with the candidate's own words as proof. A person always makes the call.
- Live conversation, not a recorded form
- Scores with verbatim quotes
- Hosted in Frankfurt, EU
- No face or emotion analysis

How it works
A first round that runs itself, without deciding for you
- Step 1
Publish the job
Write your interview questions and what a good answer covers, choose the competencies to score and their weights, and set a pass rule. Share one link.
- Step 2
Candidates talk to the interviewer
In their browser, on a laptop, tablet or phone. The AI introduces itself as an AI, asks every question, follows up on vague answers and listens without judging.
- Step 3
You review and decide
Each competency gets a 1–5 score with a short justification and verbatim quotes that jump to the transcript and audio. The AI suggests; your team decides.
Features
Built for the first round, end to end
A real conversation
Candidates can interrupt, ask for a question to be repeated or rephrased, and pause if their connection drops. Live captions on both sides.
Evidence, not impressions
Every score cites what the candidate actually said. A quote that isn't word-for-word in the transcript is discarded, and thin evidence is flagged for a human.
English, French, Lebanese Arabic
Interviews run in the job's language, and the interviewer follows a candidate who switches.
Fair by design
Scoring looks only at job-related content. Accent, age, gender, nationality and other personal traits are excluded by instruction, and the CV stays out of scoring unless you turn it on.
Integrity checks
Optional camera for identity only, never analysed. Leaving the interview screen ends the interview and is shown to the recruiter.
A recruiter dashboard
Candidates, completion and pass rates per job, average scores per competency, and a full audit trail of who decided what.
Responsible AI
Designed around the rules for AI in hiring
AI used to evaluate job candidates is treated as high-risk under the EU AI Act, and candidate data is personal data under GDPR. HireVoice is built around those expectations from the first line of code.
- Disclosed
- The interviewer says it is an AI before and at the start of every call.
- Consented
- Candidates agree to recording, transcription and AI scoring; the exact consent text is stored with each signature.
- Human in the loop
- The AI recommends; only a recruiter sets the final status, and every decision is logged.
- Explainable
- Scores carry justifications and quotes; nothing is a black box.
- Candidate rights
- Candidates can download their data or delete their application at any time.
- EU hosting
- App, database and voice servers run in Frankfurt; recordings are deleted after 90 days.
FAQ
Questions recruiters ask
Do candidates know they're talking to an AI?
Yes. It's stated on the job page, in the consent, on the pre-call screen and in the interviewer's first sentence.
Does the AI decide who moves forward?
No. It suggests a recommendation with evidence; a person on your team sets every final status. Nothing is sent to candidates automatically.
What do candidates need?
A browser and a microphone, on a laptop, tablet or phone. They can do a microphone check before starting and pause if the connection drops.
How long is an interview?
You choose a target length (typically 15–20 minutes) and a hard stop. The interviewer covers every required question first.
Can candidates retake it?
Once. Only the latest attempt is scored, and earlier attempts stay in the audit trail.
